Help Students Buy Singing Bowls at CAL

I am doing another crowdfunding this year for my graduating seniors, FB is not doing their own crowdfunding for individuals anymore so I have to do it through a third party, Fundly. Over the last five of years teaching I have incorporated mindfulness within my teaching practice. I started using a Tibetan singing bowl during our meditative minute before class starts to settle the kids into class, have them relax, and get them not thinking about everyday life for just one

minute. Some of my students really enjoy the bowl and expressed interest in having one. The kids this year have had a really hard time adjusting. We have had to deal with some serious mental health issues. They have done amazingly well considering, so I wanted them to have something that could really help them for the rest of their lives.

I was able to negotiate a good price for some good quality bowls from The Om Company. I can’t afford to buy the 40 bowls on my own so I thought I would ask for help from my virtual and physical friends as well as family. Anything helps and the kids would love it!
