Support The Ernzen Family

More Info

Craig was diagnosed in 2021 with Brain Cancer. He underwent a full craniotomy, 6 weeks of radiation, and 1 year of chemotherapy. He wore a device on his head to stop/slow the cancer from growing. In December of 2023, there was a spot that showed up on his scan which prompted a less invasive surgery to be done. He had a laser surgery performed, which took care of the spot. He was put back on chemotherapy and advised to continue to wear the device. On Tuesday (April 16, 2024) he went in for another scan and there appeared to be another spot (in a different place). We met with a broader team of doctors on Wednesday, who determined that chemotherapy and the device are no longer working. This team has recommended he go through another full craniotomy, another 6 weeks of radiation, and a new medication. They are starting all over in hopes of slowing down growth.

With this news, they need to prepare for another intensive surgery with a lengthy recovery and lots of rehabilitation. Craig has a pre-operation appointment on Friday 4/26 in MKE. His surgery is scheduled for May 6th. Depending on his recovery and rehabilitation- Michelle may not be able to return by the end of the year. Unfortunately, they won't know this until after surgery.

During this period, Michelle will not be receiving compensation from her employer. We kindly ask for your support in assisting the Ernzen family in any manner feasible. Any contribution, whether it be $1, $10, $100, or sharing this website, is immensely valuable. We deeply appreciate all contributions.
