Of course, as mentioned, it can all come down to what happens on the day and whether the teams are up for it.

The 2023 CFL season is drawing ever closer to its completion, with just one more gameweek left of the 21 to be played in the regular season. However, while there are three games still left to be played, we already know some of the teams that are involved in the postseason.

In fact, we already know all but one of the teams that are set to compete in the next stage as they look to progress and compete for the Grey Cup this year. The Toronto Argonauts and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers have both sealed their place in the Divisional Finals, leaving them each one game away from the season finale.

The Montreal Alouettes and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats will compete in one of the semifinals scheduled to take place. At the same time, the British Columbia Lions await who their potential opponent will be in the other semifinal. The Calgary Stampeders are currently the favourite as they sit in the driving seat, which many believe is a position in which the organisation is extremely fortunate to find itself.

Who is the most likely to win the 2023 Grey Cup?

With the CFL being a hugely popular sport for Canadians and with many liking to use casino online and sports betting sites to place wagers on the games and events that take place, there are many who are already looking ahead to the showpiece that takes place on November 20.

The event may not have its two finalists confirmed yet, but we do know that they will be heading to the Tim Hortons Field in Hamilton. We also know that Green Day will be headlining the halftime show, thus giving fans the opportunity to rock out to some of the band’s newest and classic hits while enjoying the football that takes place on the gridiron.

Who they will be watching come November 20 remains up for debate, although it would be very difficult to look past the Argonauts and the Blue Bombers. Of course, both organisations have managed to earn their place in the Division Finals throughout the season, but it should be remembered that it can only take a bad game and one defeat to knock them out.

The Argonauts are the form team in the entire CFL this year, as they have lost just two games from their 17 as they play the Ottawa Redblacks in Gameweek 21 to complete their season. They have put up the most points in terms of those scored (564), while they have given up the third-fewest (374). The Blue Bombers have had four defeats on the year ahead of their game with the Stampeders but continue to be effective with the ball. They have scored a total of 558 points (the second-most), while conceding 364 in the process, making them the meanest defence in the entire league.

Of course, as mentioned, it can all come down to what happens on the day and whether the teams are up for it. While they may be considered favourites, there is no doubt that whoever qualifies from the Divisional Semi-Finals will also be up for it and will fancy their chances, especially with a place in the Grey Cup up for grabs!
