Hi, my name is Tiffany, I found this dog in Detroit emaciated eating out of a garbage can. We call him Scooby-Doo and he is the best dog. He's become part of the family. I took him to the vet when I found him and sadly he was diagnosed with a severe case of heartworms. Scooby has started his treatment but it's almost impossible for me to afford on top of all my other bills. The treatment is over the next 4 months. He receives 4 shots and each shot he needs to spend the night at the vet to be monitored, they charge $700 a shot. I hate asking for financial help but Scooby deserves it. He really is the best boy.
