My husband & partner of 32 years, James was diagnosed with esophageal cancer in March 2022 after experiencing trouble swallowing. He did chemo and radiation that Spring to shrink the tumour which led to an esophagectomy surgery in August 2022. Despite the success of that surgery, the cancer has since spread to his lungs and liver.
After doing many rounds of different types of chemo for the past 15 months and aggressively working with a cancer naturopathic doctor, James cancer continues to grow.
We have sustained our home and expenses for nearly two years as best we can on one income with two daughters in University but as we explore working with a private Canadian medical company, RCM HEALTH, to do further extensive testing and treatment (some which may be out of the country), we need help to continue this healing journey.
