As I’ve mentioned via my social media, Meridith went down with jaundice overnight Sunday evening. As of Wednesday, they’re still not sure of the cause but I was told her liver levels are improving with treatment. She’s also drinking more and eating food again. All positive things so far. They’re going to reach out to to a specialist to see if they have any other ideas but we are continuing with liver treatment for now among other things. The vet bill is at $1300 now and still climbing, as she’s been hospitalized since. I’m desperate to help her in every way I can. I owe this dog more than I can ever say. She’s a true best friend and furry companion, and has never met a stranger. Thank you for reading
